As a private chef, Douglas embodies a culinary journey shaped by diverse experiences and a profound love for food. With a rich background that spans his early youth in upstate New York and Connecticut to living and experiencing the southern culinary culture in Georgia, Douglas's passion for cooking was nurtured by the influential women in his life—his grandmother and mother.

Having traveled the world and explored a multitude of cuisines, and having the opportunity to  connect with folks in their own rich culture; Douglas finds joy in sharing and blending global traditions with his own unique touch. His kitchen is a warm haven where friends, family, and even strangers are welcomed to share in the delight of a communal meal, complemented by good wine and engaging conversation.
